2. Octopamine

Octopamine is an organic chemical that is closely related to norepinephrine. It isn’t found within the human body in any large amounts, but it is commonly included in pre-workouts as a potential weight loss ingredient. 

The World Anti-Doping Agency has banned its use for professional athletes as it is a very effective stimulant. 

However, it remains popular in many pre-workout products and seems to be effective. It should be noted, that it does raise blood pressure significantly, especially if combined with other ingredients.
